Port Aransas Wooden Boat Festival

The Port Aransas Wooden Boat Festival, initiated by Farley Boat Works staff and volunteers eight years ago, showcases wooden boat craftsmanship. It commemorates a local legacy dating to 1915 and celebrates Farley Boat Works' revival under the Port Aransas Preservation and Historical Association. The festival highlights both Farley's success and wooden boats crafted nationwide. An exclusive tradition is the Family Boat Build, where four families construct and launch a boat during the festival.
