Sand Santa at Roberts Point Park

Sand Santa returns for another year to provide a fun photo op for your family’s holiday photos! Head to Roberts Point Park from Dec. 1 - Jan. 3 to witness the most anticipated sand sculpture of the season.

Holiday Shop Around

The Holiday Shop Around is a local Port Aransas tradition that supports local businesses and gives you the opportunity to find fun gifts for friends and family at a great price. From December 13-14, explore small shops and boutiques and find one of a kind gifts to remember your Port Aransas holiday adventures.

Watch the Boat Parade at the Port A Fisherman’s Wharf

On the night of Dec. 14, the boat parade lights up the sky (and the waters) of the City Marina with decorated boats before the drones put on a show in the sky. Watch from the Fisherman’s Wharf and enjoy live music, drinks, and more before the parade kicks off.

Holiday Light Show at Roberts Point Park

Wrap up the season with the Holiday Light show from Dec. 7- Jan. 4 in Roberts Point Park! A fun show for all ages, the holiday lights will dance to classic songs and even songs performed by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Get in the holiday spirit with the Port A community during this beautiful event.

Many of us like to think the New Year signifies a new era in our lives, so why not  start the New Year with  a new tradition? Port Aransas is home to fun traditions like the Polar Plunge and of course, fireworks!

New Year’s Eve Fireworks at Roberts Point Park

For a traditional fireworks celebration, head to Roberts Point Park on New Year’s Eve for an unforgettable show. The show will start around 7 PM and wrap up around 8. Celebrate the New Year with Port Aransas locals and watch the sky light up as we say goodby to 2024!

NYE Fireworks Cruise with Dolphin Adventures

Want to try something different for New Year’s Eve? Hop aboard the Scarlet Lady with Dolphin Adventures and bring your friends and family to experience the fireworks cruise. Sip champagne and watch the sky explode into a canvas of smoke and colors as you cruise along the Lydia Ann Channel. You may even find yourself making this a New Year’s Eve tradition!

Welcome 2025 with this fun, refreshing Port A tradition. Bright and early on New Year’s Day, the Horace Caldwell Pier fills with adventure seekers ready to make a splash into the new year. This event is free, so bring your friends and family along to an invigorating Port Aransas experience.
